2020 | McLaren Vale | Shiraz
Our link to ancient Celtic beginnings demonstrates a strong connection to the earth. This wine has been named ‘Sunrach’, the Celtic word for special and pays homage to one of the first grape varieties planted in Australia. With over 40 years’ of experience in the art of blending small-batch Shiraz wines, we hope you enjoy this McLaren Vale example as much as we do.

Tasting Notes:
Bright and vibrant aroma of lifted red cherry and black fruits with just a hint of savoury spice on the nose
A generous and structural wine, with black cherry and mulberry flavours, hints of dark chocolate and cedar. A superbly balanced wine with ripe supple long tannins.
Winemaking:
De-stemmed into open fermenters as whole berries. Plunged 3 times daily for 12 days, then pressed to finish fermentation and undergo malolactic fermentation in barrel (new & seasoned French oak). Batches are kept separate until blending after 20 months.
