Tasting Notes:
Deep purple with magenta hues, with lifted aromas of bright red fruits, spice and white pepper. The palate is juicy and tingles with natural acidity. Flavours of red currant, blackberry and raspberry balance the structural tannins and grippy finish.

Vineyards:
Sourced from a single vineyard at the southern end of McLaren Vale. The site is less than 2km from the ocean, and this proximity has a moderating effect on the microclimate.

Winemaking:
Hand picked and hand plunged in open ferments for 8 days. 50% whole bunch, with
the remainder whole berry. Pressed to seasoned hogsheads for secondary fermentation and four months of maturation. No acid additions or fining.
