2024 | McLaren Vale | Grenache
McLaren Vale is home to some of the oldest Grenache vines in the world. Our link to ancient Celtic beginnings demonstrates a strong connection to the earth & all that it bears and our love & care for the land shows in this wonderful wine that has been named after the Celtic translation for old vine ‘Vine Sean’.

Tasting Notes:
A bright and deeply coloured Grenache, our Vine Sean is a serious wine, with rustic aromas of woody herbs, mint, blackberry and hints of kirsch. The palate is deeply flavoured, yet medium bodied and fresh, with a defining acid line and fine tannin structure.
Winemaking:
Crushed to open fermenters with the addition of 10% whole bunches. Hand plunging 3 times daily and fermented on skins for 14 days. Pressed directly to seasoned French oak puncheons and matured for 5 months prior to bottling.
