Tasting Notes:
A bright and lifted Grenache, our Vine Sean (meaning Old Vine) is a serious wine, with rustic aromas of woody herbs, mint, blackberry and hints of kirsch. The palate is deeply flavoured, yet medium-bodied at most, with a defining, powerful, yet silky tannin structure.
Winemaking:
Crushed to open fermenters with the addition of 15% whole bunches. Hand plunging 3 times daily and fermented on skins for 14 days. Pressed directly into seasoned French oak puncheons and matured for 12 months prior to bottling.
